Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 29, 2026
I'm Benjamin, known online as LceyDex. This notice explains how personal information is handled on my portfolio. You don't need an account to browse the public pages.
Information you share
- When you send a contact message, the site collects your name, email address and message so I can read it and reply.
- Admin sign-in uses an email link or a supported identity provider. The sign-in service handles account identifiers, email verification and session information. Public visitors do not need to sign in.
- Please only share what is needed for your message. Don't include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.
Technical information
The hosting and sign-in services process technical information such as IP addresses, requests, browser information and security or error logs to operate and protect the site. For contact-form abuse prevention, the site stores a hashed identifier derived from the connection's IP address, rather than the raw address in the message record. Hashing does not necessarily make this information anonymous.
How information is used
Contact details are used to handle your inquiry and reply. Technical and account information is used to keep the site working, prevent spam and protect private admin access. Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, these purposes may rely on legitimate interests in operating a secure portfolio and responding to inquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering an agreement.
Storage and service providers
Messages, portfolio content and account information are handled using Lovable Cloud. Contact messages are restricted to authorized admins. Once email alerts are enabled, a new message and the contact details you supplied will also be sent to the portfolio's two authorized admin inboxes through the email delivery service. Replies and copies may be held by the email providers involved.
Hosting, authentication and email providers process information to provide their services. Depending on their infrastructure, information may be processed outside your country. The protections and transfer requirements that apply depend on the provider and applicable law.
Cookies, browser storage and outside services
Admin authentication uses browser storage to maintain a sign-in session. The portfolio's own code does not add advertising cookies or marketing trackers. Hosting services may process request or usage information under their own policies.
Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives the technical details needed to deliver them. If a project contains an embedded YouTube or Vimeo video, loading it connects your browser to that provider, which may process technical information and use its own storage. YouTube embeds use its privacy-enhanced domain, but this does not mean no information is shared. External links are governed by the destination's policies.
You can clear cookies and site storage or restrict third-party content in your browser. Clearing sign-in storage signs you out. A separate consent control may be needed if optional tracking or other nonessential storage is introduced.
Keeping and deleting information
Messages and related correspondence are kept while needed to respond, follow up or meet relevant legal or security obligations. There is no automatic deletion schedule configured for contact messages. You can ask for deletion through the contact page. Copies in email, backups or provider logs may remain according to the relevant provider's retention practices.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to processing, or receive a copy of information you provided. To make a request, use the contact page and identify the message or account involved. I may need to verify that the information belongs to you before acting. Where applicable, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children and sensitive information
This portfolio is for browsing technical work, not for collecting information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information that should be removed, please get in touch. Don't send sensitive personal information through the form.
